Trying to Understand or Be Understood?

So often we want others to understand where we're at, what we mean, etc, etc. Too much time in this endeavor is energy spent away from self-exploration, and finding inner peace.


When we seek to sit quietly and listen within, we are able to feel where others are at in their journey and approach them in that place, rather than where we would like them to be.


In understanding ourselves, we begin to understand others at the same time. We gain a deeper insight into our connection with the greater whole. It is in this way we become truly helpful to others and help our world.
